Hello

My name is Stu Walker.

I am a Pre-Licensed Therapist who completed a Master’s in Counseling at Trevecca University. I’m driven to help people who feel misunderstood, lonely, or in a life transition discover how to be attuned to their true, authentic selves and live from that knowledge and those values.

Let me tell you why I should be your therapist…

My Story

My first responsibility as your therapist is to provide you with a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space that facilitates your growth process and where you can openly share and process with someone who listens and cares. As we get to know each other, you’ll find that I believe healing and growth can occur when we are seen and known and are caring for our social, physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual selves. Working together, you can find more meaning, purpose, and moments that bring laughter, peace, and joy.

My wife and I have been residents of Nashville for over 20 years. I formerly worked in the concert industry for over 15 years, where I worked with various people. Combined with my journey of self-improvement and growth, I found purpose in helping people navigate their life’s journey.

When I’m not collaborating with clients and growing my counseling skills, you may find me in nature on a hiking trail with my family, enjoying live music, or at a record shop. I also enjoy watching movies or exploring cuisines from around the world at a locally owned restaurant.

I encourage you to take the next step and reach out if you want to start therapy.

Horn Counseling

Our Therapy Intake Process

01. Using the button below, you can schedule a free 15-minute consultation. Then, our admin team will confirm the details and email you a short questionnaire to complete.

02. One of our therapists will reach out to you at the scheduled time for the video consultation to learn more about your therapy goals and answer all your questions about the therapy process.

03. Assuming the therapist is a good fit and both parties want to work together, we’ll schedule the first intake session and go from there. If, for some reason, Horn Counseling doesn’t have a therapist that is a good fit for your therapy goals, we want to help you find a therapist that is.
